Job description

For our branch in Czech Republic, we are looking for a goal oriented Accounting Specialist with a "make things happen" attitude. The candidate will work in the local Financial Accounting team and will manage accounting and administrative activities. Accuracy, ability to meet deadlines and proactivity are key qualities for this role.

What you will do

  • You will record invoices received from vendors and invoices issued to customers;

  • You will be responsible for general ledger accounts (bank records and monthly reconciliation, intercompany balances);

  • You will perform monthly VAT settlement and other tax requirements;

  • You will prepare monthly financial statement and collaborate with HQ for the month-end closing process and group consolidation;

  • You will liaise with external accounting and tax advisor to ensure fiscal and local accounting compliance;

  • You will be a point of contact for the HQ and local team in order to provide support for group projects and/or improving processes and procedures.

  • You have a Bachelor or Master Degree in Economics;

  • You developed some experiences in the accounting (up to 3-4 years) in B2B or B2C companies;

  • You are proficient with Office (especially with Excel);

  • You have unparalleled accuracy and integrity;

  • You can manage multiple tasks simultaneously and balance priorities;

  • You are mother tongue or fluent in Czech and your English knowledge is upper intermediate (B2) or even better.
