As Content Localization Manager you will be part of the User Experience and Product Design Team, which belongs to the Product Department and is integrated into the R&D Global Team. This is a hands-on role.

  • You will be in charge of creating the master of our product content, you’ll get the opportunity to create and grow a great team of UX Writers, coordinate external professionals for every country we are in and work alongside motivated and passionate people in a fast-moving, growth-focused and awarded scaleup.
  • You will have a big say in how processes and frameworks are developed, establishing new smoother processes to translate and localize content.
  • You will also have a strategic role in supporting the UX Research Team in creating a process to deliver research in different countries and translate incoming feedback they can.
  • You will be a champion for our customers, being obsessed with delivering the greatest content to make them fall in love with us and convert.

What you will do

  • People Management
    • Recruit, manage and coordinate the team that will be responsible for product content creation and localization, both internal and external resources

    • Monitor translator and reviewers performance, both of internal and external resources

    • Tutor and mentor UX writers in their professional growth and development

  • Operativity
    • You will be responsible for the English master (UX writing) of our product content to be used as common starting point for translations and localization

    • Coordinate incoming translation requests and ensure timely delivery of high-quality localization for all our product components and content streams, in collaboration with other departments (i.e. marketing)
      • Evaluating translations

      • Cultural correctness validation

      • Control quality as well as compliance with guidelines and reference material such as Brand guidelines and tone of voice

      • Respond to translators questions about specific projects

    • Define the best translation, localization and validation processes
      • Being the owner of the localization tool in use (localised), defining the best set-up and pipeline

      • Update documentation on localization processes and ensure information is always complete and up to date

      • Identifying and tracking issues in the translation and localization process, suggesting solutions to encountered problems

      • Facilitate kickoff and debrief meetings if necessary for larger projects

What you bring

  • English native speaker

  • Successful previous experiences in copywriting and/or UX Writing roles

  • Mastering verbal and written communication in English

  • Previous experience in a fast-growing product company established in different countries

  • Experience as a people manager and hiring manager

  • Experience with translation, localization and proofreading

  • Strong attention to detail and rigorous respect of deadlines

  • Flexible, proactive and team-oriented attitude

  • Ability to learn new tools quickly and effectively

  • Ability to work under pressure as well as independently

You Can Really Knock Our Socks Off If you have:

  • You have already worked for marketplaces and/or e-commerce, better if in the grocery and/or in the delivery industry.

  • You have some experience in working with UX research across different countries.
