Job description

For our headquarters in Milan, we are looking for an International Legal Specialist to join our Legal Department in Italy.

Reporting to the Head of Legal, you will act as the main point of contact of the different stakeholders for all legal matters involving Everli Italy’s subsidiaries and market launch projects across Europe.

What you will do

  • You will work with the International Expansion Team to provide legal support and advice on the execution of the international expansions activities and market launch projects, in continuous coordination with HQ Legal Team;

  • You will act as main Point of Contact for stakeholders of different Everli Italy’s subsidiaries to ensure a fluid management of all their daily legal activities as well as to ensure they are carried out in compliance with local laws and in accordance with HQ guidelines and procedure;

  • You will deal mainly, with a cross-jurisdictional approach, with the following legal matters (commercial law, consumer protection law, labour law, corporate law, IP law);

  • You will manage and oversee the activities of the external lawyers of the different subsidiaries, providing support and guidance when needed;

  • You will set-up and implement scalable processes in the legal areas (e.g., contract review, localization and translation of legal documents);

  • You will monitor EU legislative and regulatory developments in the area which might affect the business.

  • You have at least 3 years of relevant working experience in the legal field gained both at law firms and/or in-house, preferably with a focus on commercial and digital law matters;

  • You got a Law Degree with excellent academic records gained in Italy or in any European Country;

  • You have excellent knowledge of written and spoken English; knowledge of the Italian language is a plus;

  • You have strong relationship and communication skills from a customer facing and technical perspective;

  • You are motivated to work in a fast-paced environment and enthusiastic to roll up sleeves, learn fast and take responsibility;

Preferred Qualification

  • Qualification as a Lawyer in Italy or in any European jurisdiction;

  • LLM or a secondary level master in law;

  • Documented study or work experience outside of Italy.
